WONDERFULLY MADE TO CONNECT
FRIENDSHIP & CONNECTION
Wonderfully Made To Connect groups are intentional gatherings where children and caregivers grow in connection through meaningful activities rooted in Scripture, worship, creativity, and identity.
These groups are devotional style gatherings designed to nurture friendship, belonging, and identity in Christ, especially designed for children who struggle with making friends, communication, and confidence.
Each gathering is unique in its theme and setting, while the heart remains the same.
IDENTITY + GROWTH
We acknowledge that some children and families arrive carrying clinical or educational diagnoses, difficult experiences, or words that have shaped identity. It is our heart to affirm the scriptural understanding that every child is fearfully and wonderfully made by God. We believe each child was created with purpose and value; not defined by ability, diagnosis, or performance. We strive to shape experiences magnifying the essence of belonging. Belonging that is offered freely, not earned.
We honor families’ real challenges while encouraging identity in Christ, trusting that God’s truth can overcome the doubts and messages that hold back self worth.
FAITH, PARTICIPATION & SAFETY
This is a purposeful, faith centered space where all activities and teachings reflect spiritual truths and values. Caregivers stay actively involved throughout the gatherings as this is not a drop off experience.
Children of all abilities are welcomed as they grow in connection and participation, including those who need extra reassurance, support, or guidance. Caregivers are present to support their child and help create a safe, positive experience for everyone.
Families are encouraged to bring any supportive items their child may need to feel comfortable and engaged, including tools that support sensory needs, communication, or participation.
Gatherings typically take place in community based settings such as parks and other public spaces that allow for open, joyful participation. At times gatherings may also occur in private homes by invitation, or in collaboration with churches and ministry partners, or within faith aligned community businesses that desire to open their spaces.
This reflects our belief that worship is not confined to a building, but carried into homes, neighborhoods, and the places where families already gather.
Locations vary by season and partnership. Details are shared with registered families in advance.
